Blog Write up – Digital & Social Media Marketing
I have chosen to do a Travel picture blog. Documenting my travels while studying abroad in Ireland. I have incorporated 3 posts on my home page. All of which show picture documentation and a quick summary of the trip/experience.
I have chosen the Baskerville 2 theme and customized it to pink and black. My two favorite colors. I have included my Logo in my all about me page. I have done this because the colors of my logo do not go with the colors of my overall blog page theme.
My audience is family, friends and anyone with the desire to or have previously traveled or are interested in Europe. This may mean future Canadian students wanting to study abroad or maybe even a family wanting to see Ireland or any other European country for a vacation.
My blog is made out to be fun, entertaining and real rather than professional. Not to say its unprofessional but I wanted it to appeal more so to friends and family rather than potential business partners. It is meant to be fun!
I have decided to keep my podcast and video on the “blog” page while my actual posts are on the home page simply because I want to continue with this blog and keep it going during my year here in Ireland. Since the podcast and video were only added for the assignment purposes I will be deleting them eventually and want to keep them separate from my actual picture posts.
